Getting started

How much does dog training cost?

Puppy lessons are £90 for 45 minutes. 1-2-1 lessons are £95 an hour (£160 for a home visit). Day training, The Pathway Programme, is £800 for five days, from £160 per day. Residential training is from £120 per day for The Precision Programme and from £108 per day for The Mastery Programme.

How long does training take?

Puppy lessons last 45 minutes and 1-2-1 lessons an hour; how many your dog needs depends on your dog. The Pathway Programme is five days. Residential training is two weeks (Precision) or four to eight weeks (Mastery).

1-2-1 and puppy training

Do you offer training at people's homes?

Yes. A 1-hour 1-2-1 home visit is £160, with travel included within 30 minutes of us and an extra charge beyond that.

Where do lessons take place?

Puppy lessons are at Revolution Dog Training Grounds or on Pocklington Green. 1-2-1 lessons are at our training ground or in Pocklington, or at your home with a home visit anywhere in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Day and residential training

What is the difference between day training and residential training?

On day training (The Pathway Programme) your dog trains with us from 9:00am to 4:30pm for five days and sleeps at home. On residential training (Precision or Mastery) your dog stays with us in our home for two to eight weeks.

Where does my dog stay during residential training?

In a dedicated, air-conditioned dog room in our home, not kennels. Each dog has its own custom-built crate with a comfy bed and fresh water, and spends time in the house with our trainers.

What happens after residential training ends?

Precision ends with a 1.5-hour handover lesson, a handover guide and WhatsApp support. Mastery includes collection day, a handover guide, two follow-up lessons and ongoing WhatsApp support.

Behaviour

Can you help with an aggressive dog?

Yes. Our team has a lot of experience with aggressive dogs, and Madison and Michael both train and compete in PSA protection sport. The Mastery Programme is built for complex issues such as aggression, resource guarding and reactivity, and dogs with a history of aggression are assessed case by case before a residential stay. Start with a free phone consultation so we can talk it through.

Do you guarantee results?

No. Every dog is an individual, and no honest trainer can guarantee how an animal will behave. Results depend on things like your dog's temperament, how long a behaviour has been going on and how consistently the training carries on at home. What we promise is our best effort, a clear plan for your dog, honest advice on the free phone consultation about what is realistic, and support once your dog is home.
